Edmonton, Alberta, Canada-May 14, 2008-PPM 2000, the leading developer of Incident Reporting and Investigation Management software for security, safety and risk management, announced today the release of Perspective Mobile IDC, a mobile reporting add-on for their Perspective Incident Management system. It was developed in partnership with FlexSystems, a key innovator in the data collection industry with options for guard tour, risk management and fire and safety inspections.

With Perspective Mobile IDC and a handheld device (e.g., a smart phone, PDA, etc.), incident data can be collected, while onsite or even en route, for further investigation, followup and analysis in Perspective. A step-by-step wizard guides data entry, and Perspective applies a validation process through which each report is reviewed before it is accepted as an official incident. Typical users include officers who don't have access to a computer but are routinely required to report incidents and security managers and investigators who respond to an incident and must immediately record their findings.

Brian McIlravey, CPP, PPM 2000's Vice-President of Professional Services & Business Development, remarked, "Mobile IDC marks Perspective's first foray into the world of mobility. It is a vital addition to the Perspective product family, giving Perspective users the opportunity to capture key incident data while still in the field." He added, "By working with FlexSystems, we were able to leverage their mobility expertise, and the customers we share-users of both Perspective Mobile IDC and FlexPatrol-will be able to leverage the integration between these two systems."

Pressure Relief for Guard tours and Safety Inspections

With the expansion and pressure on today's security and facility managers,
traditional guard tour systems are coming under pressure from the next
generation of Windows Mobile and Windows CE based PDA Guard Tour Systems.

The extensive flexibility built into FlexPatrol provides security with
virtually unlimited incident and activity codes far outstrips what is
commonly available in the market. Custom defined incidents are setup by the
customer to suit their unique site requirements.

FlexPatrol also allows customer defined questions to reduce paperwork and
provide quality data. Fire Extinguisher inspections are a prime example of a
simple yet effective method of accurately documenting this monthly
procedure.
